Gunties Reef

Gunties Reef is a surf spot located in Cape Town, South Africa, also known as Sunsets Reef. The spot sits in front of the research aquarium, making it easy to find. The bottom is rocky, and the wave is a right-hand reef break. The surf spot provides right waves. Gunties Reef works best with a light southeast wind and swells coming from the south sectors. The minimum swell height for the spot is 1 foot, but it gets good on swells around 4 to 5 feet. The best conditions are usually found at mid to high tide.
