The spot is reached by car or taxi, following the road to Praia do Jeribucaçu after passing a police station and a gas station on the left. Parking is available near the trailhead, and from there you walk about 15 to 30 minutes down a trail through the Atlantic Forest to reach the beach. The surf spot has a sandy bottom with some underlying rock formations. The waves are consistent throughout the year, and the spot is suitable for all levels of surfers. The surf spot provides both left and right waves. The length of the ride is usually less than 50 meters.
