Before paddling out, assess your skills to ensure they match the spot’s conditions and difficulty level. The name ‘Moolack’ comes from a Chinook Jargon word meaning ‘elk’. Interestingly, the beach is known for its geological features, including visible rooted stumps of trees from about 4,500 years ago and various types of petrified wood.
