Oualidia

Oualidia is a surf spot located in Central Morocco, Morocco. This spot is known for its sheltered beach and reef break, providing reasonably consistent surf conditions. The waves at Oualidia offer both left and right-hand options, making it suitable for surfers of all levels. The sea bottom consists of sand and rocks, and the spot works well at all tides. The optimum swell angle is from the northwest, while offshore winds typically come from the southeast. The length of the waves is generally less than 50 meters, and the spot is not crowded, with only a few surfers present. Oualidia is an ideal place for beginners to learn surfing, with a Quiksilver training camp available where experienced instructors can be found. The water is cold, so wearing a wetsuit is recommended. Access to the waves requires a short paddle of about 2 to 3 minutes and a walk of around 5 minutes. Nearby surf spots include Sidi Abed, Lalla Fatna, Safi, Drika, and Sidi Bouzid.
