The spot features both left and right waves, with a sandy bottom and is best surfed at medium to high tide. The waves range from 50 to 150 meters in length, offering a world-class surfing experience suitable for surfers of all levels. Despite its quality, Samurai remains relatively uncrowded, providing a more intimate surfing experience. However, surfers should be aware of the strong rips and undertow present in the area, as well as the potential presence of sharks. The beach is surrounded by large sand dunes, adding to its secluded charm, but also means there are no nearby shops, so preparation is key.
