However, it’s important to check your skills before paddling out to ensure the spot matches your level. The waves at Plage Sol sometimes break and are typically less than 50 meters in length. The spot is known to be empty, especially in the winter, providing a peaceful surfing experience. It’s advisable not to visit during the summer due to increased crowds. Nearby surf spots include Cap Spartel, Briech, Punta Paloma, Tarifa, and Zahara Redtuna. To reach Plage Sol, you can drive or take a taxi, which is very affordable. Once there, you can check the surf conditions at ‘barsol’. Current surf conditions indicate a wave height of around 1ft with a swell period of 7 seconds.
