Temara is a surf spot located in North Morocco, Morocco, approximately 15 km south of Rabat. This spot is known for its right-hand waves that break over a coral reef, making it suitable for beginners seeking a regular surfing experience. The waves at Temara are typically less than 50 meters in length and are best surfed during low to medium tides. The surf quality is considered sloppy, and the spot is generally uncrowded, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for surfers. Access to the spot is possible by paddling from the nearby “la falèse” beach, situated between Miramar restaurant and Guivil’s beach. The surf conditions are most favorable during the winter months, with the best wind direction coming from the east southeast. The spot tends to receive distant groundswells, with the ideal swell angle being from the northwest. Nearby surf spots include Contrebandier, Skhirat, The Grave, Rabat Beach, and Doura.
