About this Spot

Long left wave in the city of Livorno. Breaks on rocks and can be very long on good days. A longboard wave but not only: with a decent size you can rip this wave with any type of board. This wave needs a long period swell and off-shore wind, not the place to surf when it’s choppy. The best swell directions for surfing at Tre Ponti are southwest, west, and northwest. These swells, combined with the best wind directions of northeast and east, can create optimal surfing conditions. Crowded spot but usually a good vibe in the water: respect the local surfers and you’ll be respected. The surf spot is named after the three bridges (Tre Ponti) that are visible from the water. Beware, car thieves at work.
