Righ-hander breaking on a rocky bottom. Starts working with a decent swell (6 feet and more) and can produce barreling sections. The best swell direction for this location is from the west, northwest, and north. Optimal wind conditions for surfing at La Tonnara are when the wind is blowing from the east, southeast, or south. Not for beginners.
