Overview
About this Spot
Agrili is a surf spot located on the Aegean Coast of Greece. This spot is known for its rocky bottom and left-breaking waves. The surf quality is considered normal, making it accessible for surfers of all levels. However, the waves only break occasionally and require strong storms with winds of at least 6-7 Beaufort in the regional area to start working. The wave length is typically less than 50 meters, and the spot is generally uncrowded, providing ample space for surfers to enjoy the waves. It’s important to check the surf forecast and report before heading out, as conditions can vary. The spot is not frequently crowded, but it’s always essential to respect the locals and adhere to surf etiquette, especially when the spot is busy. Additionally, surfers should check their skills before paddling out to ensure the conditions match their surfing level. Agrili is accessible by taking the E94 towards Patra/Korinthos, then turning left onto E65 towards Tripoli and following signs to Kalamata. Near Allagi, turn right onto E55 towards Kyparissia, and close to Kalo Nero, turn left towards Kyparissia. Continue straight until you reach Agrili and turn right where indicated. A webcam is available on-site, providing live updates on the surf conditions. Remember to respect the locals and always check the difficulty of a spot before entering the water to ensure it fits your surfing level.
